DPULOs, mental health and Mind

I’m currently involved in the Strengthening DPULOs Programme, which you can find out more about on the ODI website and on its dedicated Facebook page.

  1. I’m keen to ensure that the Strengthening DPULOs Programme supports organisations run by a wide range of disabled people. This especially includes people with learning disabilities and mental health conditions.On the latter, it was great that the Chief Executive of Mind, Paul Farmer, talked about the programme at the recent conference of Local Mind Chief Execs and then tweeted about it, as you can see in the exchange below:

  7. We’ve been keen in the first 3 months of the programme to ensure we’re covering mental health organisations. This has included meeting with various mental health organisations, including NSUN:
